The artwork that you see on this website has been created out of "retired" snowboards, that are now "carrying" artwork instead of riders.
Burton, Lamar, K2, Never Summer, Gnu, Rossignol, and other snowboards serve as the base for our photographic artwork. These aren’t pieces of wood in the shape of snowboards. They're actual, real-life snowboards, and no two snowboards are the same.
If these boards could talk, what tales they might tell!
Of flights off cliffs or 720s in halfpipes. Of perfect carves on corduroy or quiet paths through trees. Of scraping down icy slopes or floating on powder. Of laps on the bunny slopes or rides through black diamond moguls. Of first lifts or waiting for ski patrol to drop the ropes.
Whatever tales they would tell, how perfect that the snowboards are able live on, as photographic pieces of artwork depicting the beauty of the Colorado mountains.
Please note: Unless otherwise noted, all of the photographs were taken in Colorado.
