Jennifer Croft, Owner of Snowboard Mountain Art

jennifer-croft-in-vail.jpgBorn and raised in Colorado, I learned to ski in the Colorado Rockies when I was eight years old.

In 1995, at the age of thirty-three, I couldn’t seem to break out of my “intermediate” rut with downhill skiing, so I decided to try snowboarding. After one 5-hour lesson at Winter Park Resort on rental equipment (way too long, highly unadvisable), I bought my own snowboard.

Thus began an addiction that has included 40-60+ days of snowboarding per season, a brief stint as a snowboard instructor at Winter Park, and lots and lots of ice packs and Tylenol.

Currently, I live in Winter Park, Colorado, which is about 70 miles west of Denver. My dream for Snowboard Mountain Art is for people from all across the world to be able to enjoy the types of breathtaking Colorado mountain scenes that I look out onto every day, and the rare glimpses of wildlife that I chance across when I’m snowboarding, cross-country skiing, hiking, or golfing.
